As extreme summer temperatures continue to impact the region, the City of York is reminding residents that several community organizations are offering public cooling stations. These facilities provide safe, air-conditioned spaces for anyone seeking relief from the heat, including individuals, without access to adequate cooling or shelter.

The City of York is advising residents that, due to forecasted extreme heat, curbside refuse and recycling collections by ESC Waste Service may begin one hour earlier at 5:00 a.m. from Tuesday, June 30th through Friday, July 3rd.
