Join a Ribbon Cutting for The New Continental Square

Coinciding with First Friday May, the City of York will be holding a ribbon cutting for Continental Square’s new landscaping. Gather on the southwest corner of the Square on May 3 at 8:00 pm. Newly installed landscape lighting will be lit for the first time.

The following construction projects by York Water Co. are scheduled the week beginning April 29, 2024 and will affect traffic in the City of York. Pending weather or other unexpected events, the projects will affect the indicated roads:

Residential Parking Permit Available Now for Wellspan Park – Baseball Season

Opening Day for York Revolution baseball is Thursday, April 25, 2024. Residents in the area of WellSpan Park will need to obtain parking permits for the season.

12 Trees to Be Planted in Penn Park in Celebration of Arbor Day

The trees will be planted on Earth Day, April 22, 2024, on both sides of the tennis courts along Lafayette Street.

Continental Square Landscaping on Thursday, Related Endowment Is Accepting Contributions

Beginning at 8:00 am on Thursday, April 11, 2024, volunteers from the Rotary Club of York will be assisting the City of York in planting perennials, shrubbery, and flowering plants in Continental Square’s five planters.
