The City of York will have seven new trees at Allen Field in celebration of Arbor Day, which falls on Friday, April 24th. The trees will be dedicated at 12:30 pm on that day. The tree planting will start at 8 am and go through the morning.

The City of York will hold its Annual Summer Parks Program starting June 15 - July 23, 2026 for ages 6 - 13. For Voni Grimes e-sports camp only, the ages are 13 – 15.

The York City Police Department will hold its Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 30th at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will be held in Council Chambers on the first floor of York City Hall at 101 S. George St. York, PA 17401.
