The City of York reminds residents and property owners that the Property Maintenance Code requires snow and ice be removed from sidewalks within 12 hours of the end of a winter weather storm.

Due to the County of York replacing the HVAC cooling tower on the roof of the Judicial Center at 45 N. George Street, East Philadelphia Street will be closed from North Duke Street to North George Street from 5:00 AM Friday, January 23 through Sunday evening, January 25. American Water Co. has begun line reconstruction along sections of Prospect St to correct dips and depressions in the sanitary and storm lines. The current lines are not allowing proper drainage to the mainlines at Poor House Run.
