The York City Zoning Board announces that its regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, November 18, 2021, will be held in City Council Chambers, 101 S. George St., at 6:30 p.m.
Met-Ed is proactively conducting manhole inspections in the electric network under E. Clark Ave., E. Philadelphia St., and E Market St., between the cross streets of N George St., N. Duke St., and N. Queen St., starting the week of October 25th, working in sections from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, and concluding around the first week of December. When necessary to create a safe work zone, traffic will be temporarily diverted to adjacent lanes or streets using signs and flaggers.

On Sunday September 26, 2021, the City of York Department of Fire/Rescue Services will be holding the One Hundred Forty Fourth & Forty Fifth Annual Memorial Service at St. Matthew Lutheran Church at 839 W. Market St.
There will be no street sweeping on Monday, September 6th, in observance of Labor Day. The City of York will resume street sweeping operations the following day.
