The York tradition of Box Lunch Revue in Cherry Lane returns May 1, 2025. Bring your lunch to the brick-paved Cherry Lane Park and take in music from local area schools. Concerts begin at 11:00 am and run to 1:00 pm.

The 50th Annual York City Easter Egg Hunt at Kiwanis Lake

The City of York Parks & Recreation Bureau will be hosting the 50th Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The community is invited to attend. The free event will take place rain-or-shine on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Kiwanis Lake in the City of York.

New Four-Way Stop at Queen & Arch Streets

As of Monday March 24th at 10 am, a new stop sign will be added to the intersection of N Queen St and Arch St. The new stop sign will be on the northbound lane of N Queen at Arch. This will create a 4-way stop, increasing traffic safety for City residents and visitors.

Double collection for Tuesday/Friday customers will occur on Tuesday, January 14 to make up for the cancellation. Any additional bags may be placed next to curbside garbage carts.
